Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday assured that Patancheru will get water from the Kaleshwaram project. The CM made the announcement during a public meeting in Patancheru.
He said that the work on the canal network to bring water from Kaleshwaram to Patancheru is in progress and will be completed soon. He also said that the government is committed to providing drinking water to every household in the state, including Patancheru.
The CM’s announcement was welcomed by the people of Patancheru, who have been facing a water crisis for many years. The town is home to a number of industries and educational institutions, and the water shortage has been a major problem for businesses and students.

The project was inaugurated by the CM in June 2019. The first phase of the project was completed in December 2020, and the second phase is currently under construction.
