The Telangana High Court on Wednesday lifted the bar on registering plots in the Patancheru area. The bar was imposed in 2018 due to irregularities in the registration process.
A division bench of Justices M Sudheer Kumar and B Vijaysen Reddy set aside an August 2007 government order and those by the Sanga Reddy district collector in six different cases. The court directed the stamps and registration department to register sale deeds.
The court said that the district collector must follow a process mandated by law before putting land plots and other properties on the prohibited list.
